I could just kiss Delta Airlines.
Gone are the days of discounted airfare for adoption travel, but Delta is the only airline we found that waives change fees if travel dates switch. And switch they did.
Yesterday we found out the dates we had were wrong and needed to be extended due to a holiday in country. We would need an extra day or two to get Sweet P's visa in time to fly home. Talk about stressful. We would have to change our tickets regardless, and since our I-800 approval arrived the day before, we decided to move up our trip!
In the end, we got a refund from Delta since the new tickets were less - and the best part - we get to have this angel in our arms three weeks earlier!
Peanut calls that one "the science teacher."
...and that one is her as a "normal girl."
Nineteen short days until we leave... and just a few more until we meet her face-to-face.
So many of you have helped us in tremendous ways as we've prepared for this trip, and I am praising the Lord for the gift of you.
