We have a seat ready for her at our table.
Peanut has been asking to do a tea party for Sweet P's birthday, so I gave them sweet tea in a coffee mug and called it good.
This messy guy enjoyed himself a bit too much. But it's a birthday, so I suppose that is A-okay.
It's been a bittersweet day. More bitter than sweet when it came to celebrating Sweet P's birthday without her. I trust that once she is home with us, this time will seem short.

ReplyDeleteI have to say I feel like I got to celebrate Sweet Pea's birthday with y'all since Peanut is drinking from the coffee mug I got you in Russia! :) Too fun. Who would've thought when I gave that to you when we were in college that your daughter would be drinking from it 10 years later!
